I'm Amrutha E, a final-year Computer Science student at VIT Chennai. I enjoy learning by doing—whether it’s building backend APIs, automating small tasks, or working on machine learning models. Most of my projects come from everyday problems or ideas I get curious about.
Some things I've worked on include an Parallel programming, a Chrome extension experiment using UiPath, and a Streamlit apps for ML and DL problems. I try to pick up something new with each project—tools, concepts, or just better ways to build.
Lately, I’ve been exploring deep learning and generative AI —still early in the journey, but I find the possibilities fascinating and enjoy experimenting when I can.
Outside of tech? I enjoy painting and sketching when I need a break from the screen. It’s a quiet way to stay creative and helps me look at things from a different perspective. I also love gardening and to take care of animals.
View ResumeBuilt a Streamlit-based chat assistant that routes user queries between vector DB and Wikipedia using a LangGraph workflow. Integrated HuggingFace embeddings, Astra DB (Cassandra), and OpenAI models to demonstrate practical Retrieval-Augmented Generation and agent orchestration.
A web-based system comparing parallel and sequential implementations of Dijkstra, A*, and Bellman-Ford algorithms using Chennai's real-world road network. Built with Next.js (frontend) and Flask (backend) to demonstrate real-time route performance differences.
An automated price comparison tool integrating UiPath Orchestrator with a Flask API. Automations are triggered via HTTP requests and return structured results, enabling seamless integration with browser tools or apps.
Developed a deep learning model for next-word prediction, demonstrating advanced NLP skills.Preprocessed large text datasets, implemented sequence padding, and trained models using TensorFlow/Keras.Deployed as an interactive Streamlit app for real-time prediction.
A full-stack platform for managing college events and guest lectures. Faculty and club organizers can create and modify events, while students can register for upcoming ones. Built using FastAPI (backend), SQLite (database), and Tailwind CSS with HTML (frontend).
